Standing in VKE without knee straps

Saturday, August 29, 2009

Mommy I cannot stand well without the knee straps. I do not like having to straighten my knees myself. I hate it and only want to try it for a little time. Twenty minutes more is tolerable.

Daddy, I have you now.

August 22-24, 2009

I play a clamber and bop Daddy game. Daddy and I have fun. Animals pop out of the holes. I bop them down.

My birthday cake will look awesome with black and white soccer balls and candles.

Chimney Boy, Part 2

August 22, 2009

One day Henry found a dog on the way home. He was surprised to hear it speak.

The dog explained that he was not really a dog. He used to be a man, a wizard. A bad power full witch turned him. But he promised Henry's real parents he would find him.

Henry was shocked that his parents were not really his. And he was more surprised to learn his godfather was this dog.

The Chimney Boy, Part 1

August 8-15, 2009

One day a long time ago there was a boy who loved to eat sweet potatoes.

His dream was to have a big farm and grow as many sweet potatoes and pumpkins and squash and white potatoes and greens and beans and broccoli and carrots and turnips and asparagus and green peas and blackeye peas and purple hull peas and brussels sprouts and okra and rice and teff and millet and buckwheat and onions and garlic and rosemary as the grocery store. He would have his farm in Alaska so he could catch wild salmon. He would hunt so he could eat venison.

He dreamed for all this food because he was so hungry for something other than hot dogs.

The boy's name was Henry but everyone called him Chimney Boy. He had to sweep the chimneys all over the city. He only Henry was so busy working and his family was not nice. They only gave him hot dogs and took all his money he earned.

Henry the Chimney Boy wants to save his money for his farm, his tractor and all the seeds and the farm equipment he will need. He has catalogs and he dreams about driving his tractor.

Pets, Inside and Outside

Thursday, August 13, 2009

Dogs should always be free. But some people make them house pets. House pets are safe from cars and trucks and wild creatures usually. But outside pets get more exercise.

My dog Abby is outside. Ms Sandy's cats are inside.

Gypsy Moths

Friday, August 14, 2009

Ms. Sandy I have heard about moths but not gypsy moths.

Moths have transforming life stages like butterflies.

Do gypsy moths travel a lot like gypsy people?

Random Requests, Politeness and Rudeness

August 7-15

I was napping. Leave.

Messages to and about Daddy

August 6-18, 2009

I pray for Daddy to come home. He stays away tonight.

Daddy, you come home tomorrow. I want you to. I miss you. I love you.

I want to see Daddy more. We watch DVDs and eat supper too. Poor Daddy only gets pizza not salmon.

Daddy, I see my snack. It is mango and raspberry and pine nuts. I see the red hay mower. It is waiting for Uncle Steve in the field.

Daddy, I spilled my pear and blackberry and almond smoothie everywhere.

Sports & Religion -To Grandma Eikmeier

Sunday, August 2, 2009

Dear Grandma Eikmeier,

I am happy you wrote to me so nice and friendly.

I know a little about baseball and football and soccer and basketball and tennis and softball. I have friends who play and coach teams in colleges. I cheer for Longwood University Lancers. I will play a sport one day.

I only watch a little television so I did not see the all star baseball game you asked about.

I would not mind learning about famous athletes like you do. Do you still have books to read about them? You said you were reading about their lives and their faith too.

I like to learn about religion. I go to church and Sunday school. I know Jesus. He loves us and died for us. He says that He is our Bread of Life.

Sleeping, Coughing, Ausgezeichnet DVD, Dog Book

Thursday, July 30 - Saturday, August 1, 2009

I sleep under my tent a long time today. I cough too much.

Being here with Daddy is delightful. A DVD has good big horses. We laugh and watch it together.

I like Daddy. I like animals. Watching DVDs about animals with Daddy is ausgezeichnet.

After breakfast we should pick a book and read it. It should have a wet dog in it.
